    Webinar Details:

    Those working in the academy have a critical role in shaping the lives of young adults, and in turn the future of our communities, institutions, and society.  This has long been the story of higher education.  As that story continues to develop we must respond to new realities.  Join us as we explore current trends and possible ways forward. We will discuss living and leading within the realities of the current story of higher education, including a distinctly Christian response. In this, we offer:

    • Five current realities of our context;
    • Five ways to move toward practices for thriving in this context;
    • And why this matters in our role as student affairs practitioners.

    Brian Jensen has also served as faculty in Humanities, Leadership and currently teaches in the Master of Arts in Higher Education program at Geneva College. He is currently editing a book for professionals working in Student Affairs.

    Dr. Keith R. Martel has also served in various campus ministry and adventure education roles. He is the founder of Falls City Press.

    Brian and Keith are co-authors of the book Storied Leadership: Living and Leading from the Christian Narrative.
