Director of Internships

At Taylor University

Hours: Full Time

The Calling and Career Office (CCO) seeks to engage the campus (students, faculty, and staff) in areas of vocation (calling) and career. A key aspect of this is a more centralized and supportive hub for internship/practicums for Taylor students. The Director of Internships must be proficient in connecting students/faculty and employers for internship/practicum experiences. This position also requires an understanding of a variety of work environments (corporate, professional, non-profit, ministry, etc.), as it serves as the primary liaison between the campus and employers. In addition, this position will serve as the point person for collecting assessment data for the CCO including 1st destination data—data for the Office’s annual report and overall assessment of the Office’s programs and services.
Qualified candidates should hold a Master’s of Arts Higher Education, Christian Education, a Master’s of Divinity, or a Master’s degree in related field. They will demonstrate a committed Christian faith and have experience mentoring and discipling undergraduate students as well as experience in program and curricular development. Previous Career Development experience is preferred but not required. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
