Description:
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Students for Residential Education and Services, the Residential Education Graduate Assistant is a live-in residence graduate assistantship position. Through this position you will get to supervise a group of volunteer students, and be involved in every aspect of a residence life and housing program. Job duties include providing after-hours duty coverage and responding to emergencies for the entire residential community of 1,092; spiritual, educational, cultural, and social programming; advising groups; adjudicating student conduct; counseling and referring students (individually and in groups); committee work within Residential Education and Services and with other Concordia offices; and working cooperatively with other campus departments. Assist the Associate Dean and Residential Education and Services team in the overall residential life program operation. All activities coming from the Office of Residential Education and Services are to make a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the mission of the university.
