Graduate Resident Adviser at Moody Bible Institute

Description:

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Residence Life, the Graduate Resident Adviser of Jenkins Hall participates in the administration of an apartment complex which houses the married, graduate, as well as a small portion of MBI's undergraduate female population. The GRA provides leadership to the Jenkins RA staff and serves the personal, physical, and spiritual needs of students. The Jenkins Hall GRA also provides administrative support to Moody’s Residence Life program. This position furthers the mission of Student Development and Residence Life at Moody by influencing the departmental and campus culture through mentoring RAs, building supportive relationships with students, holding students accountable to Institute standards and policies, and working in a collaborative manner with the Student Development team and other departments within the Institute. These responsibilities are in addition to carrying the agreed upon course load of graduate school credits each semester. The position, therefore, is especially appropriate for a student studying to obtain a Master of Ministry, Master of Arts in Biblical Students, Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies, MDiv, and Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship at the Moody Theological Seminary.
