The Resident Director (RD) is responsible to direct and manage a positive living-learning environment that contributes to and enhances the academic, intellectual, interpersonal, physical and spiritual development of residential students, and assist with the operation of the Department of Residence Life within the Division of Student Life. Working directly with a team of student leaders (Resident Assistants and Assistant Resident Directors), the RD will strive to integrate faith and relationship with Christ in the on-campus living environments with staff, students, faculty and outside constituents. This position requires an individual with a mature but continually growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated spiritual leadership aptitude and experience, superior judgment, a passion for the collegiate learning environment, the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision, and the understanding of current student issues, student judicial systems, and educational and social programming.
