DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER (ASC) The Department of Student Development is seeking to hire a Director for the Academic Success Center. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Masters Degree preferred in the area of counseling, college student personnel or education administration. Background and experience working in an institution of higher learning is desired. Responsibilities will include coordinating academic support services (i.e. tutorials, reading and writing labs); providing direct administrative oversight to the Coordinator of Testing for the facilitation of services; providing efficient scheduling of activities in support of the ASC and University Assessment Programs; and overseeing Special Needs Access Services. The Director of the ASC will also work closely with the Director of Admissions, Dean of Academic Advisement and faculty to assist in advising students within the Academic Success Program. This position will report directly to the Associate Dean of Students.
