The 2010 member survey revealed the top 10 topical interests for professional development. They are as follows:
- Character Development
- Spiritual Formation
- Student Culture
- Mentoring
- Academic and Student Affairs Collaboration
- Student Mental Health
- Diversity and Multicultural Competency
- Parent Relations
- Collaboration with other faculty members and departments
- Collaboration with other colleges and universities
Other results showed that members believe that the three most important aspects of the annual conference are keynote speakers, networking opportunities and keeping a reasonable conference fee.
